the cottage had a private hot tub overlooking the snow-covered fields. wi-fi was impossibly slow in the evening.

Staying here while exploring the Golden Circle was a wonderful experience. The cottage was cute and had a full kitchen, which made cooking meals easy for our group. However, the hot tubs were inconsistent, with one being too hot on our second night while the other was cold during our first night. Overall, it was a lovely base for a short trip, especially with the charming setup of the cottages in little villages around the area.

my experience at minniborgir cottages was tragically disappointing, with a bathroom sink that was slightly clogged. I also couldn't help but notice how my expectations for a room upgrade were completely ignored, even after bringing it to their attention. Definitley not worth the price. almost wrote a good review, but.

The place was cozy, perfect for our family with kids and our service dog. We enjoyed the playground, and the private hot tub was a real gem for our evenings. The staff made sure we had everything for our stay.
In my wife’s opinion, a few more kitchen utensils would make cooking easier.

This was just a prime choice for a weekend outing in Selfoss with incredible value for money. The kitchen had everything I needed to make a quick meal. Just be careful with the broken furniture, as it may not be safe for kids.

The location was excellent, providing easy access to nearby attractions. Clean and comfortable accommodations with a full kitchen and strong wifi made the stay enjoyable, despite the unseasonable cold. The hot tub was a nice touch, even if we couldn’t fully utilize it. However, check-in was a bit confusing and inconvenient as it required a phone call, which should be improved. Additionally, the slow wifi in the evening was frustrating, limiting our ability to catch up on emails.
